Submit a project plan

From 18 August to 14 September 2025, you could submit your idea for Burgerbegroting Maastricht 2025 (Maastricht Citizens’ Budget 2025).

Did you submit a project proposal?

All proposals are now being reviewed individually. Other municipal staff may also be involved in the assessment. Once your proposal has been reviewed, you’ll receive an email letting you know there’s a message waiting for you in the subsidy portal.

In consultation with you, we may make small adjustments to your project, adapt the budget, or arrange collaboration with another proposal. These decisions are made according to the general regulations.

Missing information

If any information or documents are missing, you will receive an email letting you know there is a message waiting for you in the grants portal. This message will tell you what’s missing and ask you to provide it as soon as possible. The sooner you submit your project, the more time you’ll have to gather everything you need – and to receive tips and feedback.

Round 3

Suitable projects will be published on the website and move on to round 3. Residents will then have the chance to vote for their favourite projects, either online throughout January 2026 or at the final event on 31 January 2026. Together, these votes will decide which projects will be carried out in 2026.
