Inclusive play for the visually impaired
The project Playground on Akersteenweg in Heer aims to create a playground where every child can play for free. That's why they already installed their own equipment for inclusive play in 2024. Inclusive play means children with and without disabilities can enjoy the playground together. They now want to expand the playground with equipment for children with low vision or blindness to play alongside other children. Parents of visually impaired children are helping choose the most suitable equipment.
