What does Burgerbegroting Maastricht 2024 look like?
Burgerbegroting Maastricht 2024 (2024 Maastricht Citizens’ Budget) consists of several rounds. You can find out more about each round on this page. We warmly invite you to join in, because your voice matters!
Round 1 – submitting projects
- Maastricht residents could submit project proposals under 4 different themes.
Round 2 – further elaboration of projects and recommendations
- We have reviewed and assessed the project proposals. You can find the projects that have made it to the voting stage on our page with projects.
Round 3 – choosing projects
- Residents of Maastricht vote on which projects receive funding for implementation. For the first time this year, voting will also be possible online, from Monday 20 until Sunday 26 January 2025. The final event will follow on Saturday 1 February 2025 at Stadsbeheer (Ankerkade 275). Find out more on our page about voting.
Round 4 – implementing projects
- Within 12 months, project initiators will carry out their chosen projects, making Maastricht just that little bit better!
