83 project submissions for Maastricht Citizens’ Budget 2025
The project submission form for Burgerbegroting Maastricht (Maastricht Citizens’ Budget) is now closed! Between 18 August and 14 September, we received 83 project proposals for the 2025 edition.

What happens next?
All proposals are now being reviewed individually. Other municipal staff may also be involved in the assessment. Once your proposal has been reviewed, you’ll receive an email letting you know there’s a message waiting for you in the subsidy portal.
Suitable projects will be published on the website and move on to round 3. Residents will then have the chance to vote for their favourite projects, either online throughout January 2026 or at the final event on 31 January 2026. Together, these votes will decide which projects will be carried out in 2026.
