Citizens' budget events on 5 and 8 April postponed due to coronavirus
Due to the coronavirus, the events on 5 and 8 April are postponed.
Events on 5 and 8 April: cancelled and postponed
We have very reluctantly decided to cancel also the other two events in the first round of Citizens’ Budget Maastricht. This means that the events on 5 April (at Athos Eet-Maakt-Doet) and 8 April (at Malberg) will not go ahead, but will be postponed until a later date. Earlier we postponed the first two events (planned on March 26 and 30) of Citizens' Budget Maastricht.
For the residents, by the residents
We believe that everyone should be able to take part in the citizens’ budget. In view of the government’s measures as a result of the coronavirus, together with the recommendations of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and Security Region Zuid-Limburg, this is no longer possible.
All residents who have registered for the events will be informed as quickly as possible. We continue to adhere closely to the measures taken by the national government and the advice from the RIVM. We will of course inform participants as efficiently as possible in case of changes or updates.
New dates for postponed round 1
As soon as circumstances allow, we will arrange new dates for all the events of round 1. In this way, there will still be four opportunities to take part in the first round of Citizens’ Budget Maastricht.
