The Wind Phone

A Wind Phone is a phone booth monument designed to provide solace to those grieving deceased loved ones, and wishing to "speak" with them. Inspired by a Japanese concept, the initiator aims to create a lasting space for remembrance. The monument symbolises solace, mourning, and solidarity, transcending religious boundaries. A serene, green location in Maastricht would be ideal to provide a safe and peaceful environment where residents and visitors alike can find support and connection.
