Bataviaplantsoen: a meeting place for young and old

Bataviaplantsoen is centrally located and already has facilities for different groups of local residents. There is a playground with benches for young children and their parents, as well as a football pitch for young people.

We would like to add a space that everyone in the neighbourhood can enjoy. The plan is to create a flower garden with a wide variety of plants and flowers. Local residents will look after the garden themselves. There will also be places where people can meet, as well as a climbing tree.

This will create a green space where residents can meet, work together in the garden and chat. It will help bring people in the neighbourhood closer together.
